Web and application hosting automation software developer NGASI has updated its AppServer Manager with tightly integrated Application Server management tools, the company says.The update includes Virtual Private Server (VPS) Support and Apache Geronimo 1.0 integration."VPS allows you to run multiple application servers in separate Virtual Operating Systems on the same machine. With the NGASI AppServer Manager, this is done in a seamless manner," the company said.
Also included in this update, are installation and configuration tools for the Apache Geronimo Application Server. These are in addition to the existing tools for other application servers, such as Tomcat, JBoss, and JOnAS.
This is part of the company's ongoing commitment to provide automation tools, designed to enable developers to rapidly deploy enterprise Java J2EE websites and applications for their customers.
NGASI AppServer Manager automates Java J2ee hosting, installation, configuration, management, and deployment for Tomcat, Geronimo, JBoss, Jetty, and JOnAS application servers.
In addition NGASI AppServer Manager open standards architecture enables complete compatibility with open source frameworks Spring Framework, Apache Axis, Struts, and Hibernate, the company says. More information can be found at www.ngasi.com.
